A JOURNEY OF LOVE
Our Story
CHAPTER ONE
The Compliment That Started It All
It started during their first week at college - On campus, where the energy was buzzing, introductions were flying left and right, and first impressions were being made. She had drawn a crowd without even trying, people gathering around her, drawn to her energy and, of course, her hair. But it was her nails that gave him the opening he needed. Freshly done, impossible to miss. He walked over, offered a compliment, and just like that, a conversation began.
What followed felt like minutes — it was hours. Long after the open house ended, neither of them was ready to stop talking. That night made it clear: this was only the beginning.

CHAPTER TWO
Certain in Uncertain Times
The world was at a standstill. Covid had a grip on everything: no cure, no clear end in sight, and no rulebook for what life was supposed to look like. But he wasn't willing to let any of that get in the way. He wanted to see her in person, face to face, and ask her out the right way. So he did.
She said yes. They met at the park open skies, fresh air, and nowhere else either of them needed to be. What followed was an entire day of conversation, laughter, and the quiet realization that this was something real. In the middle of one of the world's most uncertain chapters, they found something they were certain about.

THE PROPOSAL
He Planned Everything — Almost
He brought her back to the garden where they had celebrated a previous anniversary, a place already woven into their story. The cover was simple: a photo shoot, a chance to get some new pictures together. What she didn't know was that his nephew had been recruited as the photographer, secretly holding the ring and waiting for one word "seaweed."
It was an unmistakably hot day, but they found the perfect spot a shaded area with just the right light breaking through. He got down on one knee. The moment was everything he had planned for. The ring box, however, had other ideas. He opened it backwards.
She looked at him and for a split second, genuinely thought he was passing out. He wasn't. He was asking her to marry him. She said yes.
The garden, the heat, the backwards ring box, and all it was perfect.
